The importance of the GCB portal reopening

A summary of the GCB’s official announcement:

  • Prioritization: Applications submitted before the initial deadline of April 30th will be processed first.
  • Updated Guidelines: Please review the latest Application Submission Guidelines and the application manual on the GCB website.
  • Portal Roles: Official representatives can assign Portal User or Licensee Account roles, enabling streamlined application submission.
  • Qualifying Persons: Additional information is needed for PAN issuance.
  • Real-time Checklists: New innovations to keep track of required documents and upload them directly on the portal.
  • Master License Expiry: No renewals post-expiration (August 2024 - January 2025). Temporary "Certificate of Operation" will be issued if a direct license isn’t granted in time for existing sublicense holders.
