Julisha Silvanie joined EM Group Curaçao in August 2020 as a Financial Account Manager. She advanced to Senior Financial Account Manager and, in January 2024, was promoted to Team Leader Finance.

In her current role, Julisha supports the team by reviewing financial statements, tax returns and business plans, preparing the financial files for financial audits and performing company valuations. She is the go-to expert for all financial matters related to iGaming, Dutch GAAP, and IFRS.

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE
& EDUCATION

Julisha has a bachelor’s degree in ‘Science of Accounting’ from the University of Curaçao, double majoring in auditing and controlling.

With a career in finance and accounting spanning over 12 years, Julisha has developed a broad knowledge of financial and compliance audits, financial reporting, IFRS, Dutch GAAP and iGaming.

She worked for over four years at Deloitte in the Dutch Caribbean. Her last role before joining EM Group was as Financial Account Manager at Curaçao Trust Management, where she worked for eight years.
